Madison Arts Council presents:

Inside the Young Actors Studio

Live in Madison, AL!

Meet Felicia Day, local girl turned actress!

In this rare opportunity, meet Felicia, hear her story and learn what she feels helped her achieve her dream of acting.  The relaxed interview segment followed by light refreshments and limited opportunity to chat with Felicia one on one promise an afternoon you’ll long remember!

Felicia Day was born in Huntsville, Ala.  She was raised all over the South, the daughter of an Air Force doctor.  Home-schooled until starting college at an early age, she made plenty of time for her passions:  Felicia caught the acting bug early, making her stage debut as “Scout” in “To Kill a Mockingbird” at age 7 for Huntsville Little Theatre.  She trained professionally in ballet, and with her first artistic love, the violin, she did concerts and competitions across the nation.

Felicia moved to Los Angeles after earning her B.S. in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin.  At first she landed roles in independent films, commercials and television.  Her experience there led her to roles in series such as “Undeclared” and “Maybe It’s Me”; in features like “Bring It On Again”; and the starring role in the independent film “June.”  In addition, Felicia just finished a season as “Vi” the timid slayerette on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”

Currently residing on the Westside of Los Angeles, she enjoys computer games, reading cheap mystery novels and volunteering with rescued animals.
